Ponaletso Mobile Record Keeping App
Our impact at the community level
Empowering households to produce their own food and get proper nutrition.
We train households on different farming techniques to maximize their vegetable and crop production.
We provide education on proper nutrition and hygiene.
We offer guidance on food harvesting and storage.
We teach households food preservation methods.
Improving access to finance for household consumption smoothing and small business development
We support community members to group themselves into self-selecting savings groups using the Savings Internal Lending Communities Model (SILC).
We train the groups and help them to develop their constitutions, how to conduct their meetings and record keeping.
We link the groups to the financial institutions and Mobile Money Operators for safekeeping of their funds.
We monitor the groups to assess compliance to the constitution and growth of their funds.
Improving operational efficiency of savings groups
We support groups to subscribe to our Mobile Record Keeping App.
We train the groups to use the App for record keeping.
We monitor the groups to assess member and group performance.
